Who we are We are an independent firm of Chartered Accountants and taxation advisors, based in Portree, Isle of Skye. We offer accountancy, auditing, taxation and general business services to our clients and our activities are regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. The practice, which was started in 1979, has since grown steadily. Some 14 partners and staff are based at our Portree offices where our work is centralised. Our clients are located throughout the Isle of Skye, the West Highlands, the Uists and Benbecula, and further afield in Scotland, Southern England and overseas; they comprise limited companies, friendly societies, charities, partnerships, sole traders and personal tax clients. Through the development of close relationships with our clients we aim to provide a very personal service. We make a point of listening to our clients so that we can properly understand their concerns and business objectives. In addition, over the years our firm has invested heavily in information technology and training programmes to help us to deliver cost effectiveness to all aspects of our work. All clients have direct access to a partner who has personal responsibility for the co-ordination of all our work for you. We circulate quarterly publications on current business topics to clients and other organisations.
